Who am I outside of an artist and plant hoarder?
I am a… Dog Mom - Rugby Player - Adventure Seeker - Avid Hiker - Science Nerd - Animal & Nature Lover - Athlete - Backpacker - Foodie - Gym Rat …just to name a few things.
I’m 29-year old who lives in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara, California. Although I was born in Hong Kong and moved around for most of my childhood, I consider this paradise my home. I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Biology and completed continuing education in medical microbiology.
I had an unconventional childhood and never was close to any of my family. Long story short, I ended up living by myself during part of high school until I left to college. I’d say the whole experience has made me who I am today- someone who I am proud of.
I have found my own loving family in my boyfriend, Ian and our furchild, Nugget. We also have our little jungle of 100+ house plants, our Russian tortoise, Franklin, and our beta fish, Paco- all crammed into a little one-bedroom apartment! You’ll see that a lot of my artwork has been inspired by this odd little family.
